Empty Bowls is canceled for this year. Please come join us next year!Empty Bowls is a nationally known fundraiser that has raised millions of dollars for food banks across the nation. Your donations have helped us raise over $50,000 to date! We need your support to continue this great cause!
The basic idea for Empty Bowls is simple. Students from Cherry Creek High School and feeder schools create ceramic bowls that are used to sell in the Empty Bowl Fundraiser. Community, parents, and students come to the event and for a minimum donation of ten dollars; they pick a handmade bowl to keep as a reminder that there are always empty bowls in the world. With their donation, guests receive a meal of soup in their purchased bowls (donated by parents). There will also be a silent auction that will include student artwork, certificates from local businesses, and other items. All proceeds will be donated to Food Bank of the Rockies. For every $1 that we raise, the Food bank of the Rockies can turn that into four meals! We have raised over 200,00 meals for the FBR! |
